Microneedling

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that uses the E-Pen to create controlled and precise needling to the skin after numbing. This procedure helps to trigger the healing process and create new, healthy, and more even skin.

This treatment is best for all skin types but is extremely effective in dramatically reducing and fading acne scars, hyperpigmentation, finelines, and wrinkles over the course of multiple sessions.

Reasons for Treatment

Do you struggle with any of the following skin concerns? Microneedling may be a suitable treatment for you.

Acne Scars

After an acne lesion is healed in the skin there can be the presence of visible scarring and indentation.  Microneedling induces the production of collagen to create flat skin around the area to give a more even appearance.

Fine Lines & Wrinkles

With the aging process, sun damage, and tension over time, the skin is subject to develop fine lines and wrinkles in areas such as the forehead, eyes, or mouth area. Microneedling is able to stimulate collagen to fill these lines and wrinkles over time.

Hyperpigmentation

Hyperpigmentation can be the result of aging, sun damage, and inflammation in the skin as a part of the skin's natural healing process. Pigment that is deeper in the skin is able to surface with multiple sessions of Microneedling.

Sagging Skin

Sagging skin or loss of elasticity in the skin is also primarily caused by aging but can also be affected by other internal and external factors. Microneedling can directly stimulate the collagen and elasticity in the skin and give the effect of tighter skin.

Dull Skin

Microneedling causes the skin to exfoliate and after shedding, the new skin cells come to the surface giving your skin a dewy glow.

Large Pores

Due to the exfoliation from Microneedling, pores can appear smaller in size because of the excess oil, dirt, and dead skin cells that can be built up inside.

FAQs

How many sessions do I need?

The number of sessions required depends on your desired treatment outcome. The more sessions you receive, the more your skin will improve and progress over time. A baseline of 3 treatments is suggested to see significant results in the skin's texture and appearance.

Will I see results right away?

Superficial results can be seen after the first session depending on how your skin reacts to the treatment. Cases that involve deeper wrinkles, darker hyperpigmentation, and overall loss of elasticity due to aging and any similar indications will require more treatments. When working on resurfacing the skin, multiple sessions are highly reccomended to maximize the results of your treatments in order to target the deeper layers of the skin.

How much downtime is required?

About one week is required to bring the skin back to it's normal state. This is just an estimate time frame and depends on your skin's natural healing.

What should I expect afer microneedling?

The skin will appear red for around 24-48 hours after the treatment.

Once the redness from the treatment subsides, there may be flaking and shedding of dead skincells that can occur up to 1 week after the treatment.

During the week after microneedling, clients should be careful of their sun exposure and en
